Ascot Vale is a suburb the west of Melbourne, close to the city. It stretches from the Maribyrnong River in the west across to Moonee Ponds Creek.

Over the last decade it has been transformed into one of Melbourne’s most desirable inner-urban areas. It has been discovered - together with other suburbs in the west - and is cherished for its character and closeness to the city.

The heart of Ascot Vale is the Union Road shopping strip with an enormous array of boutique retail outlets, restaurants and cafés. Public transport is excellent with tram, train and bus services close by. Mount Alexander Road also has a growing number of unique and interesting shops.

Part of Ascot Vale’s attraction is that you can get out. You can go on great walks or bike rides along the Maribyrnong River, or enjoy the golf course, tennis and leisure centre.
